Tso – Moriri Lake Jeep/Motorcycle Safari Tours in Ladakh
Tso Moriri Lake is about 28 km long and 8 km wide at an altitude of 4510 meters. Tso – Moriri, a 20 km stretch of saltwater encircled by golden hills and two of the highest mountains in Ladakh. Around 240 km journey to Tso-moriri Lake passes through Shey, Thiksey, Upshi and many small villages along the Indus River. The hot spring at Chumathang (3965m) comes after driving 100 km with a hot spring Resort where you can bath in hot spring water which Ladakhis use for healing.

Leh – Chumathang (3965m) – Tso Moriri Lake (4,510m) |
After breakfast, we drive to Chumathang, halting at Upshi for passport checking. Chumathang is known for its hot springs with medicinal properties and people visit the place for taking medicinal baths. Visit the famous Chumathang Monastery and drive on to the Maha Bridge, the most important checkpoint to entering to this new region. From here the road is rough. Visit the Sumdah village. Thereafter, we drive on another 55 km to reach at Tso Moriri Lake. Tso Moriri is a pearl shape village with a beautiful lake. Overnight stay will be at Camp in Tso Moriri. |

Tso Moriri – Leh |
Morning, drive to the famous Puga Lake Valley and visit Mahe village. Puga Valley is famous for originally Butane gas. Thereafter, we drive to Tsokar via Polokongka Pass (13,500 ft) and visit Tsokar Lake and the Thugke Gompa. The beautiful Tsokar Lake is approximately 45 km northwest of the Tso Moriri Lake. The region is also famous for its population of Wild Asses. A short drive from here will take you on the Leh - Manali National Highway route. Continue drive towards Leh via the Tanglang La Pass (5,350m), which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Overnight stay in hotel at Leh |
